25 and Hopefully Still Cool
Hello world!
Just kidding I mean hello to the zero people who will read this blog. Oh the optimism! I know it's overwhelming.
Anyways, I was going to wait til I had all my beautiful wedding photographs finished and post some loveliness about that but I haven't had the time and I won't for a bit. So here I go diving headfirst into the realm of blogging. (It feels like a dive into a wading pool.) Don't be disappointed I swear this will get better.
Please keep in mind as you read this I am currently suffering from an official quarter life crisis as I have recently (September 15th) turned the big 25. People say I'm still young but those people are either 50-80 years old and well, I am young to them. That or they are 15 and would feel really bad if they made me feel old so they lie. However, what doesn't lie are wrinkles and I have two quite distinct ones blessing my forehead as we speak.
That aside I'm going to post my perspective of the world as messy and un up to date or way too avant-garde as it may be. I do hope someone enjoys.
Musically I probably have what many may consider not up to date taste. In my defense I have been exposed to much of the more modern music and have yet to find much of it worth listening to.
The following are some of my more recent finds that I have been:
My favorite voice currently is that of Giselle Rosselli in Flight Facilities, "Crave You". Have a listen.
I probably like it so much because the song reminds me of how I used to feel when I met my now husband.
Next I love Best Coast's, Our Deal. This music video isn't very "pretty" but the song is. I suggest closing your eyes for the first listen.
Enjoy or feel lame. (I'm smiling at the moment not just being a total jerk.)
